Clamperl is a Water-type Pokémon resembling a blue clam with a pink pearl inside. It has a sturdy shell that it uses for protection, and it can clamp down tightly to defend itself from predators. Clamperl is known for its ability to produce a powerful grip with its shell, making it difficult for opponents to escape once caught. It evolves into either Huntail or Gorebyss when exposed to specific evolutionary items.
