Pokemon Card Rarities

Rarity indicates how frequently a card appears in booster packs and products. Common cards are easiest to find, Uncommons are less frequent, and Rares include tiers such as Holo Rare, Ultra Rare, Secret Rare and special illustrated variants. Rarity affects collectability and market value, but gameplay balance is determined by card text rather than rarity alone.
