Pokémon TCG: McDonald's Collection 2023 is a special promotional mini-set offered through Happy Meals at McDonald's during the summer of 2023. The set consists of 15 unique cards that reflect the latest Pokémon from the Scarlet & Violet era and ties into a simple “Match Battle” game that comes packaged with each card-pack. The promotion launched in July 2023 in select markets and each pack included four cards: three standard prints and one with a confetti holofoil treatment. Only six cards in the set were released as holofoil. From a collectible standpoint the set is accessible due to its small size, yet still retains appeal because of its foil variants and limited distribution. From a gameplay or promotional standpoint it served primarily as a fun entry-point for younger fans or flavour collectables rather than deep competitive value.
